Short Bio

Ms. Anupama Anand is IRS-IT officer with more than 30 years of experience in senior leadership position in areas of Taxation, Law, Finance, Urban Infrastructure and Capacity Building. She is a tax diplomat who has made a substantial contribution as a tax expert in the creation of knowledge in the fields of transfer pricing, international taxation and in the development of strategies for revenue generation under the Tax Inspector without Borders (TIWB) initiative of the UNDP and OECD. She is compassionate team leader when it comes to managing human resources, motivating employees, as well as developing their skills and ability to accomplish organisational and developmental goals. She possesses M.Phil (equivalent) degree from National Defence College, New Delhi. She is presently serving as Secretary, Competition Commission of India with effect from 05.10.2023.
